Concerns about RFID security have always nagged the technology: Can a virus be entered into the network via fake tag? Can the data the tags transmit be intercepted? Kevin Ashton, vice president of marketing at RFID vendor ThingMagic, believes that these problems can be solved with security solutions already in place in other kinds of networks.
