Time for a change
You may have noticed a bit of a writing lull from me lately, and I apologize for that. I have been writing the Security column for over six years, and it has been my greatest pleasure. I enjoyed sharing insights and am lucky to have experienced many "ah-ha" moments when dialoging with readers. It has been nothing short of a joy.
That said, I am currently working on transitioning to a new "blog-type" platform and away from the traditional column format. I will likely continue much of my writing here, though, stay tuned to security.itworld.com, because you just never knew when I might pop in for an article, white paper or multimedia presentation!
Thanks to ITworld for providing me the most amazing editorial and support team any author could ever ask for. Thanks to my wife for always encouraging me and for the countless hours of working through topics, listening to proofs and always giving me the smile and nudge to keep going. But, most of all, thanks to you, my readers. Without you, your dedication, your wonderful interactions and your attention - none of this would be possible. Thank you, most of all.
So, as we wind into the heat of summer, continue to leverage the power of the security.itworld.com portal and add my blog to your list of RSS feeds. I will continue to explore best practices, discuss new technologies and even turn an analytical eye to some of the emerging myths of infosec. I look forward to even more years of sharing ideas, insights and dialogue with all of you. Have a great summer, and thanks again for your time over the last several years!
