Eman (Emmanuel Conde) has the destinction of being the only Cisco Systems Authorized Global CCIE recruiter in the SRS program. Eman earned this distinction because of his tireless efforts on behalf of CCIEs and developing Cisco talent. He has spoken at Cisco Academy events, developed an international CCIE mentor program, writes for ITWorld magazine, has a very active blog focused on CCIE career concerns, and produces the CCIE Flyer an online magazine published monthly. He has developed a unique approach to recruitment which includes giving back to the CCIE community through his advice, career columns and CCIE Mixers which are networking events he hosts internationally. Unique to the industry is his specialization in CCIE recruitment and the many ways he has created a presence in the CCIE community. He is featured in many CCIE blogs, supports live music in Second Life where he advertises on two stages, created the CCIE Network in LinkedIn, has run the only CCIE supported CCIE Salary Survey, has appeared on TV advising Hispanic viewers about IT careers, works with CCIE training internationally to provide career advice to students as they prepare for the CCIE Labs, and he is now sponsoring schools in Delaware and NYC as part of the Cisco Network Academy program and IT Rocks.
Eman has created an industry around the demand for CCIEs and the CCIEs’ need for representation by an agent instead of a recruiter. He is known as the CCIE Agent™ to his vast network of CCIEs. Working as an agent means becoming more involved with the careers of CCIEs, breaking out of the classic recruiting model. Eman works for Bridge Resourcing Solutions where he has a team supporting the SRS program and fulfilling IT requirements from the channel partners. Bridge Resourcing Solutions is a featured resource available through the Cisco Partner Talent Portal. Bridge currently has offices in London and in Delaware.

Paula,
I like your 5Ks they are very accurate and all IT professionals should keep them in mind. Often when working, IT professionals are head down and focussed on delivery. We must remember to say hello to the other's around us and allow them into our professional network. As well as keeping the ersume updated always keep the professional network fresh.
As an international
As an international recruiter specializing in CCIEs and Network Engineers I can vouch for the 6th place career on your list. Network engineers are still in high demand because Cisco Channel Partners are still doing a brisk business. Project managers are another area I see hot demand for in this unusual recession. There is stillhiring going on and anyone retooling their careers should consider Cisco Certifications. Good article!
