Time to Filter Facebook?

Just after my post about The Facebook Productivity Sink Hole, the Internet monitoring company 8e6 Technologies sent me a note about their recent study. They surveyed 1000 businesses, 500 in the US and 500 in the UK, and found the problem crosses the pond faster than bad reality TV plots stolen by Hollywood.

Microsoft Details More Windows 7 Vaporware

Computerworld plays Microsoft fanboy in “Opinion: 10 Best Features in Windows 7 for IT Professionals.” The Windows developer conference underway now will generate a tidal wave of “inside information” which is Microsoft PR speak for “vague promises” with little connection to reality.

40 Trillion Spam E-mails This Year

Ferris Research, the mail and messaging specific research group, made plenty of noise not long ago when they said there will be 40 trillion (with a T) spam messages sent this year. They can predict fairly accurately, since 30 trillion spams went out last year.

I expect Microsoft to spread FUDge everywhere about Windows 7, for all their typical reasons.
